Psi balls are the first questionably paranormal thing that I had personal experience with, and they're one of the easiest things you can do that remains unexplained by science.
One of my cousins showed me how to make psi balls over fifteen years ago. He had learned it from an uncle on the other side of his family.
Psi balls are balls of psi formed between the hands. They're not visible (at least to me), and you can't throw them and kill people, so don't assume it's like Dragonball Z. The most indication I have that they're there is a sort of magnetic repulsion feeling between your hands, like you're forcing the north poles of two magnets together. Some people feel other sensations instead, like heat or cold.
There are several methods, but I've only really had success with one, so that's what I'll describe here. If you want more information, check out the old psipog articles here or here.
I usually cup my hands around an empty space like I'm holding a softball in between them. Then I rotate my hands (like polishing a vase), breathe deeply, and visualize energy flowing from me or through me into that space. I usually rotate my hands counter-clockwise, but I've heard that clockwise is better. I'm not sure there's a difference.
Some people imagine that they're holding a very heavy ball and they have to focus all their strength into keeping it from falling out of their hands. Others just focus on the empty space between their hands and try to "feel" it. Others flex the muscles of their arms, or visualize energy flowing from chakras. There are probably other methods as well.
If you're having trouble:
Concentration and health are the two most important factors in making a psi ball. Although I have managed to make them in a crowded food court of a mall, I've found that they're usually much easier when I'm in a quiet, secluded area. Outside at night works the best for me, but people who live in the city might find it less distracting to work from inside.
It helps a good deal if you exercise immediately prior to trying. I've found sprinting and yoga to be especially good.
Good breathing also helps. Abdominal breathing works best.
What are psi balls really? I'm not sure.
I've taken a few qigong classes. In qigong, and other martial arts, the same practice is known as chi balls, qi balls, or ki balls. I was interested to discover that during my qigong class, I could feel that same magnetic repulsion feeling flowing around my entire body. The instructor even allowed us to feel around the other students, and I could feel a different kind of energy around each person.
For a long time though, I've suspected that psi balls might actually be a form of temporary tulpa. They're briefly imposed to your sense of touch, and some people claim to their sense of sight as well. It would make sense, as I've never heard a reliable account of anyone being able to scientifically measure or detect psi balls in any way. Some people say they can make psi balls permanent, but I've never been able to do it myself, so applying the same effect to my own tulpa has proved futile as well.
Anyway, that's my experience, my thoughts, and my knowledge. Do with it what you will.
